Chris Gatlin joined Brown & Brown in March 2015, as a Sales Executive. He obtained his property and Casualty license prior to his employment with Brown & Brown. A 1989 graduate of Alexandria Senior High and a 1993 graduate of Louisiana College, Chris brings with him 22 years of experience working with students, parents, teachers, coaches, and administration, demonstrating his communication and leadership skills. During his teaching and coaching career, Chris worked with special education students meeting their individual needs so they could achieve graduation. During that time, he also served as head football coach and athletic director at Buckeye High School for two years and at Alexandria Senior High for four years. The time spent teaching and coaching fostered Chris’ ability to build relationships among teammates and colleagues and demonstrated the dedication and discipline he brought to tasks. Additionally, Chris’ hard work led his team to the highest ranking ever held by a football team at Alexandria Senior High.
Chris and his wife, Christine have two children, a son and a daughter. In addition to coaching at the high school level, Chris volunteered as a coach in the Dixie Youth Organization for many years.
